Merry Christmas!!
I can't believe Christmas is just around the corner. This is Carson's first Christmas, so we took him to see Santa Claus. Well, Carson was not too sure of him. He did okay for a couple of seconds and then started crying. Oh well. Maybe next year will be better. We did have fun as a family picking out our Christmas tree and seeing the reindeer. This Christmas will be lots of fun watching him open presents.

Whew! Where has the time gone? Carson keeps growing and changing every day. He is now crawling and getting into everything. He recently has learned how to wave and it is so adorable to see him practicing.
I know it has been a while since I last updated the blog. Apparently, the Debban Family likes to stay quite busy. Carson got to experience his first Halloween, where he dressed up as a cowboy. He also had his first plane trip. Jeremy had to head to New Hampshire for work, so Carson and I got to tag along. We had a fun time exploring New England. And Most recently, Carson was baptized at Christ the King Catholic Church in Richland. His Auntie Nicole, who is also Carson's Godmother, was able to be out for his baptism. We enjoyed celebrating with family and friends.

7 Months!
Where has the time gone? It is crazy that Carson is 7 months old. These last few weeks have flown bye. Carson is scooting (getting close to crawling) all around the house. I guess it is about time to start baby proofing the house. The other day, I left Carson for a couple of minutes and found him putting one of Cooper's (our dog) toys in his mouth. It made me realize I need to watch what is on the floor.
Carson has experienced his first illness. I knew it was probably coming since he is now going to daycare, but I was not expecting it quite like this. First, he got the flu with vomiting on Friday, which I took him to the doctor to be checked out for. Then, Jeremy and I both got sick with flu over the weekend. On Monday, we found out Carson had pink eye. So, I took him to the pediatrician again. Shortly, after that Carson got a cold, which ended up being a double ear infection. And needless to say, I was back at the doctor's office again on Friday for Carson to get some antibiotics. Whew! I never thought I would be at the pediatrician's office 3 times in one week. But now, he is doing much better and I hope we do not have to experience this again for a long time.
Besides having the flu, our dog, Cooper, recently had difficulties all of a sudden with walking. He is unable to use his hind legs due to a back injury or possibly from invertebral disc disease. It was quite scary for us because we had to decide between putting him down or surgery. We were not ready to say goodbye to him, since he is only 2 years old and opted to take him to Washington State University in Pullman for surgery. Fortunately, Cooper got a little better and the vet decided to hold off on surgery. However, we have to keep in his crate for 6 weeks. This is going to be a long 6 weeks. But, hopefully Cooper will get better or at least we are keeping our fingers crossed that he will.
Here are some recent pictures of Carson (and Cooper)!

6 Months!
I can't believe Carson is now 6 months old. He is already growing up way too fast. Carson is now sitting up and can stay that way for a little bit before falling to the side. This month has been a lot of firsts for Carson. He had his first boat ride, which he seemed to actually enjoy. He also experienced food for the first time. Carson got to try rice cereal. He doesn't seem too sure of it yet. Additionally, Carson is finally starting to sleep through the night too. Yeah! Of course, we don't want to jinks it. We will keep our fingers crossed that this will continue. Carson continues to amaze us every day. We always enjoy seeing what the next day will bring us.

5 Months
It's crazy that July is almost over. Carson is officially 5 months old now. Carson keeps growing by leaps and bounds. He has discovered his feet and tries to put his toes in his mouth. He continues to babble. This month we went to a friend's wedding at Suncadia and then ventured over to Sandpoint to see my grandparents. We also made a trip over to Portland for a weekend.
