2 Months

Time is already flying by with Carson. It is hard to believe he is 2 months old already. He is already smiling and cooing. Carson just loves laying on his changing pad and kicking his legs and stretching his arms. It's fun just to watch him kick away. Of course, he loves to be held and will let you know. Here is his 2 month picture.

First Easter

It's hard to believe Carson celebrated his first Easter. We decided to go to Easter Vigil on Saturday instead of going to mass on Sunday. We thought this might work out better for our schedules. Boy, we're we wrong. Carson practically cried the entire time. Nor did we realize mass was going to be 2 1/2 hrs long. Fortunately, Jeremy and I survived. On Easter, we had a wonderful brunch at Jeremy's parents house and then headed to Portland to celebrate Easter with my parents. Here are some pictures taken on Easter.

Newborn Pictures

I can't believe how time flies. I had Carson's newborn pictures taken a couple of weeks ago and am just now getting to post some of his pictures. I am amazed everyday by Carson. He is starting to smile, which makes my heart melt even though it may be 4 in the morning. Be sides the lack of sleep, everything seems to be going well.

Each Day Something New

Hmm... It's amazing how you think you have it all figured out before you have a child and then you realize each day is going to bring a new adventure. Whether that adventure is trying to deflect a fire hose while changing a diaper or trying a new comforting technique or just developing a schedule (e.g. baby wise). That's what makes being a parent so interesting. Well, I have attached a few pictures of Carson at home and from our trip to Portland.

It's amazing how much Carson loves the water. He just feels right at home when we put him in his little tub.

Welcome Carson Jerome!

Carson Jerome was welcomed into the world on February 17 @ 9:18 PM. He was 6 lb 13.4 oz and was 18.5 inches long. Mom and baby are doing well.

Almost 40 weeks!!

I can't believe I have just about made it to my due date (February 17th) and no signs of this baby wanting to come. I have cleaned the house. The nursery is done. My suitcase is packed and the baby's bag is packed. I am just waiting for the baby. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and will see how things are going. I am planning on being induced on the 17th if everything goes well. Hopefully, Jeremy and I will have a baby by the end of the week. This baby has to come out one way or another.
