Baby Shower (January 2nd)

I thought I would post some pictures from my baby shower that was held by good friends from work on January 2nd. Bonnie and Lindsey did such a great job putting together a fun shower. I only have 2 pictures at the moment from the shower and hope to get the rest of the photos soon. But, I thought I should post a picture of the adorable cake and part of the group.

Only 36 days to go...

I can't believe I only have about a month left before the baby comes. I had a check up yesterday at the doctor's and everything looks good so far. I am definitely starting to feel more and more pregnant. I don't think my belly can get any bigger.
Jeremy and I are starting to feel the push to get everything done around the house. Or maybe it's me starting my nesting phase. Jeremy and his dad are working on the bathroom remodel still, which I hope will be done soon. And the nursery is still a work in progress. I am getting very excited, yet nervous that the baby can come any time. I still can't believe I am going to be a mom. I don't have any new pictures, but will most some very soon. I hope everyone is having a good new year so far.

I can't believe it's already Christmas, which means I am 32 weeks. Wow! Only 8 more weeks to go. Very exciting! I just think how much fun next Christmas will be with the new little one. Hope everyone has had a great day. Merry Christmas!

Happy Birthday Hubby!

Happy Birthday Jeremy!! You are an amazing husband and best friend. Thanks for all your hard work . Especially, spending all your extra energy into our house. I know it seems like it is never ending.

Portland Baby Shower

Last weekend, my good friend Kara held a baby shower for me in the Portland area. I got to see many friends and family that I had not seen for quite some time. Some came from far away to even make it to the shower-Alaska, Nebraska, and Seattle to name just a few places. The shower was at a tea house, which was neat because it was in the old town of Sherwood. I enjoyed all the gifts for the baby and look forward to putting them to good use. Thank you to everyone who made it.

28 Weeks

28 weeks

I have officially made it to 28 weeks. Only three more months to go. Jeremy and I are getting very excited. This only means the pressure is on to finish the nursery and the bathroom we are remodeling. It seems like these projects are never ending.

The baby is definitely more active and just seems to kick away. Even Jeremy is able to feel the baby kicking at times. Work is getting more challenging. Especially, by the end of the day my feet start hurting and my co workers like to give me a hard time that I am already waddling. Here is a picture of my belly that just seems to keep on getting bigger.

27 Weeks and Counting...

I had my 27 week check up yesterday and so far everything looks good. I had an ultrasound to see if the placenta had moved away from the cervix (which it has) and to see the baby's heart. The Doctor said that the baby is checking out where it should be. The baby is now head down and is in the 40th%. The baby now weighs 2 lbs 2 oz, which is crazy to me since I have gained almost 20lbs. We tried getting a good view of the baby's face, but the baby was not cooperating. Jeremy and I were successful in not peeking to see if it is a boy or girl. So, it is still a surprise for us.
Life has been busy for Jeremy and I. We are trying to get a lot of house projects done before baby comes. I hope we can finish some of these projects soon. I promise next posting I will post some pictures.
